Gulf Coast Community Foundation seeks to transform our region through bold and proactive philanthropy. Gulf Coast’s grant-making is designed to make the greatest positive impact in our communities.
Funding priorities include:

Community Grant
Program and event funding for nonprofits in our service area. Each nonprofit may receive up to $25,000 total per fiscal year across Program Support and Event Sponsorship Grants combined.
Applications Open: July 15; Applications Close: September 30
Catalytic Grant
Supporting bold, collaborative projects that create lasting regional impact. These grants typically exceed $25,000.
Organizations must first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through our Grantee Platform. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. Not all LOIs will advance.
Letter of Inquiry Deadline: September 14, Application Deadline: October 20
Receiving a Community Grant does not affect eligibility.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed monthly.
About The Grant
Requirements
Organizations serving Sarasota County, Charlotte County, DeSoto County, Boca Grande, Lakewood Ranch, and Longboat Key, Florida that are classified as tax-exempt public charities by the Internal Revenue Service are eligible to receive funding.
Funding may not exceed $25,000 during the fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). -We request one application per organization for each fiscal year.
The application may include multiple programs and/or events you would like Gulf Coast to consider funding.
