Francisco Carvajal Foundation

Desembolso de los Fondos del Donativo

The Francisco Carvajal Foundation is the stage for his work as a philanthropist and humanist and offers him a way to give back to the people who helped him raise capital and support for those who need it. This is his desire: to create a more balanced society and for his contribution to having a positive impact on the education, health, and recreation of the town.

Payment will be made exclusively for certifications:

  • Purchase of materials and equipment: Any organization requesting a donation for the purchase of materials and equipment must submit three (3) quotes and one (1) letter indicating that the organization has evaluated the quotes and understands that the accepted quote is reasonable.

  • Professional services: Any institution requesting a donation for the payment of professional services, once approved by the Board, must submit (a) the description of their functions and responsibilities, (b) justification of their functions and responsibilities, and (c) a letter indicating how the professional will be evaluated.

  • Vehicle purchase: Any institution requesting funds for the purchase of a vehicle must submit three (3) quotes and one (1) letter indicating that the organization has evaluated the quotes and understands that the accepted quote is reasonable. It is at the discretion of the Foundation to require the requesting organization to have a percentage of funds for the purchase of the vehicle.

  • Construction projects: Any institution requesting funds for construction projects must submit three (3) official contractor quotes and indicate which quote was selected. Once this is submitted, the organization initiates the work and the contractor, through certification, will inform the Foundation of the progress of the work. This will be supported by the invoice and check issued by the organization, along with a reimbursement letter elevating their request to the Foundation. It is at the discretion of the Foundation to require the requesting organization to have a percentage of funds for the construction work.

Additionally, the following must be complied with:

-Include a breakdown that describes in detail the improvements to be made (plumbing, electricity, structure, materials with costs, among others).

-If the improvements are to be carried out in different areas, detail the work to be done in each one.

-Include drawings, sketches, or plans detailing the improvements to be made.

-If you are requesting funds for improvement projects to the physical plant due to damage caused by Hurricane Maria or the Southern Earthquakes, submit evidence of claims to insurance companies or FEMA.
