The Aspen Puerto Rico Fellowship is designed to support a new generation of Puerto Rican leaders shaping the archipelago’s cultural, civic, and economic future.
The fellowship combines Aspen’s internationally recognized leadership methodology with a learning experience rooted in Puerto Rico’s unique history, culture, and aspirations. Through reflection, meaningful dialogue, and a lifelong peer network, fellows elevate their leadership while building the trusted relationships needed to create lasting impact.
We are seeking Puerto Rican leaders both on the archipelago and in the diaspora between the ages of 25 and 45 who have demonstrated leadership, professional achievement, and a commitment to the future of Puerto Rico.
Applications open in October 2026.
About The Grant
Requirements
Be between 25 and 45 years old and be a Puerto Rican leader, whether residing in Puerto Rico or part of the diaspora.
Have experience across a variety of sectors, including arts and culture; entrepreneurship and creative industries; hospitality, sports, and entertainment; business and corporate leadership; education; civil society and philanthropy; public service and public policy; media and journalism.
Demonstrate a commitment to leadership, professional development, and the future of Puerto Rico.
Actively contribute to conversations by drawing on their professional and personal experiences.
